Your Books Are Calling You
Don’t you just enjoy a good read? Getting lost in a world made of books, coffee and rainy days. With just one glance of it and you’re inside the mind of another person. An author is speaking clearly and silently inside your head, directly to you. We read not because we don’t have a life but because we choose to have many and by so, our personalities are greatly influenced by the books we read.
You get that one book that you can‘t put down. The synopsis looks good, the cover looks good, you begin a new life, you find a new home, you meet some new friends and you keep on reading, hoping it will never end. You only stop to read it when your eyes start to hurt and your vision gets blurry from either sleep or strain. Don’t you think that there should be holidays dedicated to reading books? Everyone drops their schedules, some workplaces are closed, and others are home in bed reading books all day.
The unknown facts about reading are:
- Neighbors will never complain that your book is too loud.
- Knowledge has not yet been perfected. You’d better read.
- Books have stopped bullets. Reading may change your life.
- Reading can make you a better conversationalist.
